You have been asking for connection and community and something a little out of the box for our events. And what better way to foster these connections and challenge us to think differently, than through the exploration of art, followed by a delicious dinner with your peers?
What has art got to do with speaking, you might ask?
We think exploring the inspirations, approaches and challenges of the artist to create a piece of art that moves people, provokes them and captivates them, has everything to do with our role as speakers. Why not challenge our creative process by broadening our ideas and learn from another profession?

What do you think of when someone says, ‘Contemporary art’? Raised eyebrows, a dash of confusion, and a sprinkle of ‘Is that a banana taped to the wall, or is art?’
You are not alone! Contemporary art can be a fresh lens on the world, challenging, confusing and intriguing. And, just to clarify, your kid probably couldn't have created it!
Dive into the mysteries, beauty, and challenges of contemporary art at the NGV’s Triennial exhibition, with your own personal tour guide.
Come and see a robotic dog painting autonomously, experience Yoko Ono’s work firsthand, and enjoy David Shrigley’s darkly humorous artworks.
This isn't just a contemporary art exhibition; it's a visually arresting and thought-provoking voyage through the world – from robotics to tapestry, weather patterns to war, mysticism to megacities.

Our event starts with a private guided tour of the ground-breaking NGV Triennial exhibition. This exhibition features over 75 extraordinary projects that invite us to reflect on the world as it is, while also asking how we would like it to be.
Whether you're a seasoned art enthusiast or a curious beginner, our expert guide will provide you with insider knowledge and bring art to life in new and exciting ways.
After the tour, we'll gather for a gourmet dinner at Chocolate Buddha (Japanese inspired cuisine) and enjoy the company of our fellow speakers. You'll have the opportunity to connect and spend time over a deep dinner, share your experiences, and build new relationships.
