Following the overwhelming success of our inaugural event last year, our annual speakerlympics extravaganza event is back!
It’s gonna be fun, fast and fabulous!
Bring your end of year cheer and your super-sonic speaker skills - both will be needed for this epic end of year event.
What is it?
A night of games, challenges, competition and mayhem.
What kind of games?
Fun ones. Ones based around speaking skills. It might be things like:
- give a speech based on the random slides displayed behind you
- talk as much as you can on a subject without using certain words
- best heckler handler response on the fly
- fastest tongue twister reciter
How will it work?
Teams. (Not MS Teams - this is fun, not infuriating!)
Groups of peeps on the night, depending on who shows up. No need to pre-pick your teams.
Will there be prizes?
You mean apart from the joy of participation? The fun of crushing your opponents and the delight in knowing you have bested the best? Yes there will be.
If you haven’t made it to a live chapter event yet, this is your time! Come and celebrate the end of year with a laugh and some lunacy. You’ll be in great company.
Your host for the evening
Peter Hordern is a Melbourne MC and marriage and funeral celebrant. He’s performed hundreds of ceremonies around Australia helping couples celebrate their relationships and wedding receptions and families their loved ones. When Pete’s not on a microphone you’ll find him with his three daughters, brewing a beer or checking his bees. Humorous yet sentimental - you’re in for a great time with Pete.
Can I bring a friend?
YES! We’d love you to bring a friend. In fact, we down right encourage you too!
It’s the perfect event for PSA members and their guests to unwind, celebrate and look forward to 2023.

Arrive 5.45 for a 6pm start.
Finish at 9pm
