Karen Jacobsen The GPS Girl® has likely given you directions. The original Aussie voice of Siri in a billion smartphones, Karen built an empowerment brand from one voice-over job. After 20 years in New York City, and deeply involved in the speaking industry as President of the New York City National Speakers Association chapter, and the national board of NSA for a 4 year term, Karen’s insights as an international speaker will be focused on actions you can take right away in your own business.

At June’s PSA NSW meeting, Karen will deliver her signature Recalculating Keynote, as she would at an opening session for her clients, with major speaking business additions. Learn 5 turn-by-turn Directions for Recalculating and how to use your internal GPS system when navigating change in these times.

Karen will take us on a journey from her small town childhood near Australia’s Great Barrier Reef - to becoming The GPS Girl® whose voice is in more than a billion devices and smart phones - to building a career and business in the Big Apple. Sharing the many starts, stops, detours (and a few disasters) she encountered along her own road to success, she proves that it is never too late to Recalculate.

Karen Jacobsen will share:

  • her mix of marketing strategies to book business
  • top tips for stage presence and performance

and you will receive:

  • The GPS Girl’s Speaker Success Checklist - with 44 Ways to Drive Your Performance

After 20 years in New York City, relocating to the Whitsundays during the pandemic, and remotely packing and moving her home into a shipping container via FaceTime when borders were closed, Karen knows a thing or two about Recalculating.

Outcomes:

  • Learn The GPS Girl's 5 Directions for Recalculating when things do not go as planned
  • Quickly bounce back and redirect your efforts more efficiently and effectively
  • Increase your ability to drive results in your speaking business

About Karen Jacobsen

Karen Jacobsen speaks, sings and motivates groups who want to drive their performance.

Karen’s speaking voice is in over a billion GPS devices and smartphones worldwide giving directions. From this one voice-over booking she created her empowerment brand “The GPS Girl”, teaching the five directions for Recalculating in business and life.

An award-winning Singer and Songwriter, Karen's musical career highlights include: sharing the bill with Norah Jones, Neil Sedaka and Christopher Cross and singing the national anthem at major sporting events including 80, 000 people at Giants Stadium for the New York Jets. As an Author, her book Recalculate - Directions for Driving Performance Success follows her journal book "The GPS Girl's Road Map for Your Future”, which provides a literal road map for getting more of what you want in business and life.
