Coaching and speaking are two complimentary disciplines. Many coaches lose count of the number of times they’ve coached a leader only to have them turn around and ask them to speak to their team. Most successful speakers will have multiple options for audience members to engage with them in an on-going capacity after any speaking event. Coaching is a common choice for speakers.

While any one can sit down with a client and ‘coach’ them, just like speaking, coaching is a skill, a discipline and a practice that needs to be worked on. In this session Cliff Morgan will share lessons, models and insights that will help you be more effective when coaching your clients.

Part 1

Framed in the context of his own journey to become a great coach and then a great speaker, Cliff will share:

  • Four lessons that every speaker/coach should know,
  • Three models you can use to enhance your coaching,
  • Many ideas presented from a unique perspective that will prompt you to think differently about how you approach your practice.

Whether you’re a only just starting to work one-on-one with clients and coaching them, or whether you’re an established speaker who has been coaching for many years, Cliff guarantees you’ll get at least three takeaways that will help improve your coaching.

Part 2 - Lessons Learnt

Cliff will be joined by Jane Anderson CSP and Chris Wildeboer who will share key insights from their experience coaching over the past and form a Q&A panel to answer questions from the floor.
