As a speaker you need drive and energy and are often aiming to inspire your audience, which can be tough when you feel less than inspired yourself. It is fair to say that after the past few years, burnout is an international crisis. And despite being your own boss, professional speakers are not immune to burnout, in fact it is often the passion you bring to your work that places you at risk of burning out.

It is important to have a plan to maintain that passion and drive, and ultimately avoid burnout. The longer we let burnout symptoms linger, the longer it takes to recover. This session will give you insight and tools to apply to your career and life. You will take away:

  • How to recognise those first signs of burnout
  • An easy to apply framework to understand what causes burnout for you, and any employees you may have
  • Practical advice on what to do when burnout symptoms appear
  • And some readily applicable, research-backed tips on how to sustain that passion and drive.
