After the turmoil of the last three years, trust in government and the media in Australia has never been lower. Your clients and audiences are craving someone to believe, to help them make sense of what continues to be a very uncertain world.

As a speaker, you’re no stranger to stepping into the spotlight. Now, more than ever, you need to demonstrate your credibility so you’re not dismissed as just another confusing voice.

This is a virtual presentation, but we will, as always, meet in person at the Kensington Hotel to work, discuss and get the most from the presentation.

Dr Neryl East is a credibility expert who shows leaders how to be heard, stand out and command influence. She’s worked with some of Australia’s most senior leaders in what she calls “spotlight situations” - when the pressure is on, the stakes are high and the outcome really matters.

This session will give you insights and tools that you can immediately apply in your own speaking practice.

You’ll take away:

  • A framework for demonstrating credibility to your audience, whether you’re a subject matter expert or an entertainer
  • Tales from the trenches: Lessons from senior leaders speaking in the Spotlight
  • Practical tips for building connection and trust with audiences, in the room or through a camera
