As a successful speaker, you might have flirted with being an author. Maybe you have boxes of books in your garage to prove it!

What if there was a better way to capture your expertise and get your book into the hands of your ideal audience?

In this session, Lesley Williams from Major Street Publishing will share what publishers really look for in their authors, easier ways to get your thoughts into print, and how your next book can transform your speaking business.

You’ll take away:

  • Insights into making a winning publishing pitch
  • Whether mainstream or self-publishing is the best way for you to publish
  • Valuable information to make sure your book will attract new clients that align with your brand

And as a bonus in this session, you’ll also get inside tips from accomplished author and PSA member Dr Jenny Brockis, who’s been published twice by a major brand and has also self-published two books. Learn directly from Jenny’s experience for your next publishing venture!

About the national webinar series

In response to member feedback, each month you’ll hear from someone who’s highly successful in their field, with ideas, tools and insights to help move the needle of your speaking business – whether your focus is keynotes, training, webinars or other modalities.

The sessions will be no longer than 60 minutes and at least a third of this time will be dedicated to peer learning. We’ll use breakout rooms so you can discuss your takeaways and ideas – so come prepared to engage and share.

Webinars in this series are included in your PSA membership. Guests are welcome to register for $55 per session (GST inc).

Process:

Once you have registered to attend (Members for FREE, Guests $55) you will receive a confirmation email providing you with information on joining the webcast.

Note:  We encourage you to attend the session live so you can take part in what will be a highly valuable discussion. The recording will be sent to everyone who has registered.
