Session 1: Harness Speaking Anxiety with Paul du Toit CSP
With the publication of the revised and expanded version of "The Exceptional Speaker - how to deliver sensational speeches" in early 2021, co-authors Paul du Toit and Alan Stevens have dissected the art of speaking from just about every angle. In this segment 
Paul focuses on why all speakers experience stress and anxiety and how the best speakers channel this anxiety to their advantage. Having listened to Paul you’ll stop trying to quash anxiety. Instead, you’ll have proven techniques to harness stress to your advantage before and during your speech.

Besides being fun to listen to, Paul provides a clear message that produces the desire and willingness to change and to act. He is the author of 3 books including You Can Present with Confidence and The Exceptional Speaker (co-authored with Alan Stevens). Paul blogs regularly on presentation skills and customer service, with many articles being published in South Africa and internationally. Paul is a founder member and past president of PSA Southern Africa and is an Honorary Fellow of PSAUK.
Session 2: Raising your speakers profile from the Covid Cloud with Nic Hayes
Join Nic Hayes in a "Poolside" Chat* with Tony Eades CSP as he explores how to raise your speakers profile from the Covid Cloud. From this session you will take away the following:
- Tips and hints on how to engage media with your expertise coming out of a pandemic year.
- A process to make yourself an asset to media in unusual times.
- Maximise your expertise across all media platforms and target markets.
