To be a successful professional speaker we have to develop and run 2 things well: our skills as a speaker, and our practice as a business.

Most of us are either a solo operator or a key team member of a larger group. In either case, to build our practice we need to be more efficient and effective, so that we can get more opportunities to speak, and more speaking work from the opportunities that present themselves.

In other words, we need to use the power of Momentum.

Jon Yeo is an expert on using Momentum to create and take advantage of opportunities, as evidenced by his highly successful TEDxMelbourne program which he has run for the past 11 years. As a self confessed "geek" Jon uses data and analytics as both a speaker (think "impacts per minute") and as an event organiser (TEDxMelbourne) to identify the key steps to take in each opportunity to build momentum for the next opportunity.

In this session Jon will break down how he runs his own speaking practice and leads teams so that you can learn the principles and practices of using momentum to build your own business.

• How to use content and audience analytics to determine the impact you have on stage (or the Zoom screen!)
• How to break down your speaking practice into manageable chunks that can be effectively scaled

About Jon Yeo

Jon Yeo is the incoming National President of PSA, a professional speaker & speaker coach and volunteer licensee of TEDxMelbourne (since 2009). Over that time he has developed his own speaking practice and leads 35+ volunteers to produce large annual events and very popular virtual events.
