2021: It's a new dawn, it's a new day - and I'm feeling good

Queue Michael Bublé...

2020 forced us to make decisions based on necessity.

2021 gives us a chance to hit the reset button, take control and shape our own destiny.

This series of sessions will be thinking and working sessions - less talking heads, more scratching of heads as you make decisions about your business and begin to put your plans in place.

AGENDA

Friday 4th December

10am - 12pm AEDT  Darren Hill, CSP: Think Brighter - a strategic masterclass for building a better business in 2021

When you’ve founded and built a business that has made 3 consecutive Australian Financial Review FAST 100 lists you’d think you’d know everything few things about business strategy, right?

As PSA Hall of Fame inductee in 2018 and having delivered presentations across the planet, Darren Hill knows the speaking game intimately and carries a genuine desire to see others in the industry succeed and future-proof themselves and the industry as a whole.

In this kick-off session we’ll be guided by Darren in a roll-up-your-sleeves strategic exploration of what your speaking business can (and should) be in 2021.

In this masterclass Darren will lead us through:

  • Establishing categorisation and visualisation
  • Business frameworks to identify our blindspots
  • Key areas of focus for our future efforts

Investment thinking; the importance of compounding.

Just to be clear: this session in not a presentation. Nor is this session just repurposed content (normally rolled out to clients) but rather a specifically crafted 2 hour session designed to unlock your thinking for 2021. But be fairly warned. 2021 might just be the most challenging business landscape we’ve ever encountered. Business is a contact sport, and you may come out of this session with some well-earned bruises!

1pm - 2pm AEDT Collaboration: stronger together

Sharks hunt alone, dolphins hunt as a group. Let's get to know our fellow CSPs and figure out how we can not only hunt, but work as a together to create this brighter future.

3pm - 5pm AEDT Jane Anderson CSP, Dave Staughton CSP & Ian Stephens CSP: Marketing mindset / Marketing Magic

Ian Stephens, CSP will kick us off with 30 minutes to get our marketing mindset in top shape to help us kick the goals we set during the previous sessions.

This will be followed by a series of short, sharp and practical roundtables to help us begin to shape our marketing strategies incorporating SEO and content marketing.

Finally, Ian will wrap us up with a session to pull this all together to help us develop our 2021 marketing plans.

5pm - 7pm AEDT BYO Collaboration

We will end the day with a less structured collaboration / networking session to continue to generate ideas on how we can work together.

Saturday 5th December

10am - 12pm AEDT  Dolphin Tank Like Shark Tank - but nicer!

This is your chance to put everything you've done during Day 1 into practice and to make your pitch in front of our panel of fellow dolphins (Jane Anderson CSP, Dave Staughton CSP & Ian Stephens CSP), who will give you feedback to hone and refine it to ensure 2021 can be your best year yet.
