For us all to work together to support each other during the current challenging climate we will be running every second Chapter meet-up as a Chapter HUG via Zoom. You are welcome to join any of the state chapter HUGs as we share the love across the country. All of these events are free to members. In August, guests can also join the HUGs for a small registration charge.

Session 1: How To Effectively Cold Call As A Professional Speaker, with Ashleigh Alsadie

During this presentation Ashleigh Alsadie - Founder and Director of Melbourne-based sales and lead generation agency The PromoDonna - will provide you with ‘tips and tricks’ that will enable you to master the art of prospecting, and boost the number of speaking opportunities you have in your pipeline.
As an accomplished speaker and entrepreneur, Ashleigh currently runs two successful sales-focused businesses; The Promo Donna a lead generation firm that creates high quality B2B sales leads and meetings through cold calling and prequalification for hundreds of companies throughout Australia. And AshleighAlsadie.com, her own personal business, where she provides Training and Coaching solutions to assist people in growing their business, and selling themselves and their brand successfully.
Ashleigh has supported solopreneurs through to corporate organisations, helping them to fill their sales pipeline and growing their bottom line.
Her training uses tried and tested strategies used by her team, along with NLP tactics and method acting skills to help people to create the ‘sales persona they have always dreamed of playing.
Session 2: Local Government for Local Business, with Andrew Blitz
WALGA is the industry association for the Western Australian Local Government sector. Commercial Development Manager, Andrew Blitz, will present on the Associations procurement program to facilitate business between the Local Government sector and Western Australian business. You’ll leave with some inside knowledge on how to best showcase your speaking/training business to local government.
Andrew is Commercial Development Manager at WALGA. In this role he facilitates the supply of approximately $400 million per annum of goods, services and works to the West Australian Local Government through a centralised procurement program. He has an MBA in strategic procurement, and is a former WA Regional Chair of the Chartered Institute of Purchasing and Supply (CIPSA). He has also completed the Institute of Arbitrators & Mediators Australia (MIAMA) Probity Advisors course and the Australian Institute of Company Directors course (GAICD). Andrew has been instrumental in building agile and large scale contracts with a local economic benefit.
