For us all to work together to support each other during the current challenging climate we will be running our normal Chapter meet-ups as Chapter HUGs via Zoom. You are welcome to join any of the state chapter HUGs as we share the love across the country. All of these events are free to members. For June, guests can also join the HUGs for a small registration charge.

The VIC June HUG will be held on 15 June at 6:00pm. Our speaker will be Steve Simpson CSP.

Topic: Methodology - It's Time

With the sudden transition to virtual presentations that's been imposed on all of us, pretty much everything changes. No more spontaneous, rapid-fire interaction, no more audience dynamics and no more audible laughs to our jokes!

With these and other fundamental changes, as professional speakers we need new ways to make an impact. There is no doubt that technology can help in this regard, but the risk is that's all we focus on. Steve Simpson is of the view that we need to think carefully and deeply about our methodology in this new world.

This session with Steve will explore methodology in the virtual context and in the process, will tap into the methodological genius that lies within the group!
