WA Chapter Event - March - FREE EVENT
Nuggets of Gold!
That's right, here in the West, we want to make sure that we are regularly sharing our 'Nuggets of Gold' with our fellow colleagues. As March is convention month rather than having a formal meeting, our State President, Amanda, will be hosting a 'share-plate, share-nuggets' event.
What does this mean? Regardless if you have been in practice for less than 5 years or more than 20 years, there's bound to be something that you use, that you've found and/or that you love..that has made your speaking career easier. Think of it as 'that thing I wish I had known about at the start of my career, as it would have made all other things easier!'
Your role in this meeting: Bring a plate of food to share and bring your nugget. Not sure how to share your nugget? Here's a template that might help (click HERE). We've left the template as a word document so that you can adjust accordingly. Please do not feel limited to this template, it's only a suggestion if you are stuck. If you could print 20 copies of your nugget to distribute at the event, that would be great. Otherwise, bring a USB and we can print on site if required...or even send through to Amanda (info@amandalambros.com) in advance and she is more than happy to print and bring along to the meeting. You will then be given 5 minutes to share your nugget at the meeting and there will also be space and time to ask questions of the nuggets.
What will be provided? Tables, chairs, pens, paper, plates, cutlery and napkins as well as coffee, tea and wine.
The cost to you? A plate of food and a valuable nugget. If attending, please RSVP.
Parking: There is heaps of parking next to the venue at the Como Hotel/BWS location. We have a deal with them that we can use their parking for when we are hosting events.
Meeting will be open from 6:00 pm for a 6:30 start and go no later than 9:00 p.m.
Don't forget to bring along your 'Nugget' and a plate to share. The informal meeting is taking place at 219 Canning Hwy, South Perth, WA - Suite 25. We look forward to seeing you there!
