Would you like the skills of a master speaker? Don’t miss our November NSW/ACT Chapter meeting, where you’ll get extended access to one of the best presentation skills specialists in the country.
You’ll also mix and mingle with like-minded colleagues and share experiences of your journey – whether you’re an established professional speaker, an expert who speaks or someone who aspires to change lives through speaking.
What’s in store for you:
5.00pm Pre-session - Tales from the Trenches
Hosted by Leanne Wall and featuring Daniel Merza
Join us for our ever-popular Tales from the Trenches session; this month, 2018 Kerrie Nairn Scholarship winner Daniel Merza will demonstrate part of his signature keynote that’s currently being taken to school around NSW. You’ll have the chance to observe and give your feedback, and discuss key elements you can take away and apply in your own presentations.
6.00pm – Part one of a spectacular double-headed session: Craft your keynote like the masters!
Michelle Bowden CSP
We welcome the brilliant Michelle Bowden CSP back to the NSW Chapter, due to popular demand!
Last time Michelle worked with our membership, she taught us how to follow the 5 Step Analysis Process to better draw out what we want to achieve when speaking to our various audiences.
She also showed us the underpinning structure for a masterful keynote so we meet the needs of all types of audiences.
In her return performance this November, Michelle will drill down and help us re-write (or write from scratch) the opening and close of our keynotes.
You’ll learn how to captivate your audiences, motivate them to pay attention and close for action. This is not to be missed!
Bring your keynote (or the idea for a new one) and be prepared to do some laughing, some learning and some seriously exciting work!
Michelle Bowden (CSP) is an authority on presenting persuasively in business. Michelle has been the Director of her national presentation skills training consultancy for more than 20 years.
Michelle is known globally for her Persuasive Presentation Skills Masterclass that she’s facilitated more than 830 times for over 10 thousand people. Her name is synonymous with presentation skills training in corporate Australia. People don’t say, I’m going to presentation skills training. They say, “I’m going to Michelle Bowden”. This year alone she's helped her clients win more than $3.2 billion dollars worth of deals.
Michelle is the author of the best-selling, internationally published book, How to Present: the ultimate guide to presenting your ideas and influencing people using techniques that actually work (Wiley). She is also the co-creator of the Persuasion Relative Strength Indicator (PRSI) that tests your persuasiveness strengths and weakness on the job.
On the stage, Michelle is known for her passionate, entertaining, and highly interactive approach to her presentations that ensures behavioural change every time. Renowned for achieving results through learning and laughter, Michelle fundamentally believes that when you laugh as you learn, you learn more and retain it for longer. In fact, delegates from Michelle’s training and keynotes are still using her techniques 20 years later – that’s an exciting ROI!
