Three years ago, I made a career change and started a speaking business. I had no topic, no reputation, no marketing material, and no clients. But I did invest in a great mentor and I worked really hard at the business side of things.
I now have a multiple six-figure speaking business – based on keynote speaking alone. No product sales. No follow-up workshops. No webinars. No consulting. No membership sites. Just keynote speaking.
I’m still new in this industry, and I know there’s a LOT to learn. But I’ll share what I’ve done so far, and what is working NOW in the conference speaking market in Australia.
I don’t have a magic formula, I don’t know any “secrets”, and I’m definitely not trying to sell you anything. There’s a lot of hard work, focus and persistence - and I reckon anybody can do it.
