This is a special free event where you will be able to absorb value from the experiences of people who attended and share your own. It will be a facilitated interactive panel discussion with the fabulous panel including Helen Macdonald CSP, Brett Dashwood, and a Mystery Guest.
Helen Mac’s first event with this Association was the National Convention in Canberra in March 2000. She attained her CSP in 2002 and was National President in 2005 and is the only person to have received, from the Victorian Chapter, the full complement of awards in a four-year period – New Speaker of the Year; Mentor of the Year; Speaker of the Year and Golden Mike. To top it all off, she was awarded the prestigious Nevin Award for Service to the Speaking Industry in March last year.
Outside the Association, Helen is Australia’s Corporate Optimist. She specialises in maximising opportunities in individuals & teams, creating optimal performance in organizations of all sizes.
Brett is an active member of Professional Speakers Australia and was Convention Co-Chair for the National Convention 2016. Having been trained in Singing, Theatre, Radio and as a Voice Actor, Brett has used the skills of improvisation and spontaneity on stage to build a reputation as an engaging and entertaining compère and MC.
In his business life, Brett is the founding Director of The Document Institute and a recognised global expert in high volume customer communication that delivers amazing results.
