How to be an Expert with Peter Cook

Peter Cook is an expert... in how to be an expert! As the CEO of Thought Leaders, he has made a career of helping clever people be commercially smart. In this funny, enlightening and informative presentation, he'll walk you through the key decisions you need to make to run a commercially successful thought leadership practice.

About Peter Cook

As the CEO of Thought Leaders, Peter Cook has a wealth of experience when it comes to leveraging your expertise for maximum impact. Together with business partner Matt Church, he has impacted the careers of some of the most influential speakers in the speaking industry - people like Jason Fox, Gabrielle Dolan, Dan Gregory, and Lisa O'Neill.

With a keen understanding of the commercial implications of expertise, Pete has a unique and valuable insight for everyone who has a message to share with the world. If you want to do work you love, with people you like, the way you want, you've come to the right place.

Pre-Session Panel

For our August event we will have a panel of speakers including Yvonne Adele CSP, Carson White and Joanne Woo. They will give you the low down on why they select or reject speakers for their events/conferences

  • What are their criteria?
  • Is price the only variable?
  • What else, apart from topic, is important to event organisers?

About Carson White
Carson White has 20 years’ experience working with professional speakers. For 18 of those years, he was a consultant at ICMI Speakers and Entertainers. During his time at ICMI, he worked with a diverse range of speakers. His role was to guide clients and recommend the most appropriate speaker for their conference or event. In addition, Carson also guided many speaker’s careers. He has always been very willing to provide his ideas and insights into what he believes makes a good professional speaker and professional speaking business.
