Speaker 1: Phil Lee - The 7 Most Costly Sales Mistakes Speakers Make and How to Avoid Them

You might be the best speaker on the planet, but without making sales and getting paid what you are truly worth, you may not be in business for long!

During this interactive presentation, sales expert, Phil Lee, will detail the 7 most common mistakes that could be costing you a small fortune and a flourishing career. Many of us don’t know what these mistakes are, let alone how to avoid or eradicate them.

Phil started his speaking business from scratch 11 years ago with no speaking experience, no prospects and no clients. He grew his revenue from $150k to $400k in four years. One of Phil's coaching clients transitioned from mediocre sales performance to the #1 salesperson out of 400 at IBM in the US.

Speaker 2: LIndsay Adams (CSP Global) - How to Build Relationships Quickly to Boost Your Speaking Business

Relationships underpin everything that you do, and if you want to get more bookings to speak, you need to get into relationship with your potential client quickly.

In this session, Lindsay will show you how to create strong personal and professional relationships to do what matters in your business and create success, including:

  • How to harness the confidence needed to build partnerships
  • How to ensure your attitude, approach and actions create the momentum required to achieve success

Apart from being an accomplished speaker, author and coach, Lindsay is a Past President of the Global Speakers Federation, Past National President and Life Member of NSAA.

Your MC: Karen Armstrong

Karen Armstrong is an expert in preventing aggressive behavior, and while she doesn’t expect any of this at an NSAA Chapter Event, be warned as she welcomes any chance to practice! As well as presenting at business and community events with solutions for threatening behavior, Karen also enjoys hosting forums as an MC. Karen will create a friendly, welcoming environment where the speakers can shine and the audience can learn.

Business Session: Why join a mastermind group?

Host, Kevin Bees, will help liberate the knowledge of our panel (Lindsay Adams, Mike Schoettler and Jenny Cartwright) about mastermind-style groups and facilitate a conversation about their structure and benefits.
