with Gerry Morris, Senior Consultant, Saxton Speakers Bureau

After a refreshing, productive hands on workshop with the great Warwick Merry CSP National President, and an intimate incisive pop up event with the commanding Sam Cawthorn CSP, in February,  we continue the momentum with our upcoming chapter event.

The two most valuable things you can do to develop your professional speaking career, are to:

  • join PSA - and learn and from those who know the journey
  • be a part of a mastermind group - and stay focussed week by week

This evening is designed to help you develop and enrich your speaking career, whether you are a complete newbie, or an international celebrity.

Part 1: Mastermind Session -

Mastermind groups have been the catalyst for many successful speaking careers.  This Mastermind session is designed to support every single person in the room.  You will have the chance to work with others who are in a similar stage of professional speaker development as you are, to brainstorm, create and plan your next steps.

Gary Edwards, Speaker, Coach, MC, and Influential Speaker expert, Sally Curtis, Speaker, Coach and expert on the future of networking, and myself, Liana Taylor, Speaker, Clinical Psychologist, International Mindfulness Teacher, and expert on the inner game of leadership will be available through this session to facilitate and guide. Other greats of the game will no doubt also lend a hand where their expertise is helpful.

Do bring your Speaker Roadmap and notes.

Remember, the quality of answers you receive is based on the quality of your questions.    What specific questions do you want to answer for your next one or two steps?

Part 2: In Focus Interview with Delwin Keasberry - Keynote Speaker and Professional Trainer based in Adelaide

According to feedback, “ Delwin is a man of action who possesses an unmatched passion in life that we can observe among high-achievers” and tonight you can listen to Delwin speak about his incredible career journey through international culture and social media.

He has a background in business development and strategy, and has worked with the likes of the British High Commission, Microsoft, Asia Inc Forum, BMW, Servcorp and HSBC. Delwin has spoken at conferences including the Women in Technology Conference in Sydney, the ASEAN100 Leadership Forum in the Philippines, TEDx in Malaysia, and the ThinkBig Innovate Forum in Brunei.

Delwin offers three programs: Cultural Intelligence, Ideas and Innovation, and Social Media Influence, and  is currently writing his first book which will help people develop their ideas and take action towards making their goals a reality.

Part 3: How to get work with a Speakers Bureau, with Gerry Morris, Senior Consultant, Saxton Speakers Bureau

Gerry helped establish ICMI Speakers & Entertainers Queensland office from 2001 and worked with ICMI for some 12 years. He then ran an events company where he invited some of these great speakers to share their stories with the local business community.  Gerry has worked with presenters covering every topic that their clients are looking for, from motivation, business, sport, overcoming the odds and just about everything else.

After 17 years in Qld he recently returned to Adelaide as Senior Consultant for Australia’s longest running speakers bureau Saxtons.  And tonight Gerry wants to help you understand how you can engage a Speaker Bureau

Gerry  jokingly considers himself as one of the longest running speaker consultants in the land with some 17-18 years of experience under his belt. He is looking forward to sharing his knowledge from a bureau’s point of view and answering any questions you have to know how you get to work with a Speakers Bureau.
