Free Speaking Engagements - What You Need To Know

This year we are focusing on taking our speaking careers to the next level. After an incredibly rich and useful workshop with PSA National President Warwick Merry, we are maintaining momentum with a workshop about Free Speaking Engagements.
Some of you are preparing for your first speech, some are developing your speaking skills for greater leverage in your businesses, and some of you are keen to expand your sphere of influence. Where ever you are in your speaking career, most of you are likely to be speaking for something of meaning, and to make money.
Many speakers start their careers giving free speeches - both giving value to audiences, and crafting their message and delivery. There are many groups keen to invite you to speak at their events: charities, not-for-profits, association groups, BNI groups, etc.
However, as speaking becomes your main source of income, speakers make different decisions about whether to give free speeches or not - because time giving free speeches is time not earning money - or is it?

ABOUT THE SPEAKER
Sam Cawthorn, CSP
Sam Cawthorn is an International Best Selling Author and both the Young Australian Of The Year and the Edupreneure of the Year.
In 2006 Sam’s life changed forever when he was involved in a major car accident which left him with an amputated right arm and permanent disability in his right leg.
Sam has worked with organizations in 36 Countries and shared the same stage with the likes of President Bill Clinton, Dalai Lama, Richard Branson and Michael Jordan.
Sam resides in Sydney Australia and lives with his wife of 20+ years and his 3 Children.
