Steps to Success
2018 is the year to make things happen. To give us a head start, Warwick Merry CSP, our National President, is flying in for a quick stop workshop to help us take our next Steps to Success.
This workshop is a hands on, make things happen event. Warwick will be consolidating on his previous presentation to us and guide us in getting some of our essentials in order.
The workshop is on Sunday 11th February, 10am – 1pm. Warwick will be staying afterwards for lunch til about 3, and to answer any questions you may have.
The first part of workshop is about creating the three core documents of your speaking business:
- Your speaker 1 pager
- Your Bio (in 50 word, 150 word and over 300 word format) and
- Your speaker introduction.
Everyone will leave this session with the core of those three documents created and be ready for editing and completion.
The second part of workshop is about creating products that appeal to your target market. These products can be used to generate income or be used as a give away to attract further business.
At the end of this session you will have the out line of the product you want and the skills and tools to create and complete it within a week.

To get the most out of this workshop you should bring the following things:
- Your laptop (if it is a Mac, be sure to have iMovie and GarageBand loaded. If it is Windows, download Audacity and have it installed)
- Your mobile phone and charger
- Your headset for the phone
- Your existing Bio, Intro and one pager.
- If you don’t have any of these three, write down some interesting words and statements that describe you, what you want to talk about, who you want to talk to, and what others have said about you and the value you deliver.
- Your ideas for a product, in particular, what area of expertise is most sought after by your clients or are you most passionate about.
