QLD|NT State Meeting - 21 February 2017

Creativity is the new black! It is the fuel that feeds the innovation age in which we live.

For our February event we've lined up 5 creative connectors to share their expertise, Pecha Kucha style. We'll get you fired up for a creatively energised 2017.

ACT ONE:

Dr Irena Yashin-Shaw CSP - Creativity & Innovation Thought-Leader
Creative thinkers are the new rock stars. Professional speakers who want longevity in this industry need to move beyond being 'experts who speak' to becoming creative thought leaders, adept at transforming their content in multiple ways.

John Driscoll CSP - Digital Disruptor & Sales Educator
Creatively Connecting with new clients through Social Selling, Serendipity and just Good Luck.
How to help people find you that need what you do is something that needs to flow with ease. I’ll share with you how I’ve shifted my business model to become a digital brand based lead magnet. People need what you do; it’s time to help them find you.

Simone de Haas - Story Alchemist & Speaker Director
We live in the connection economy and story is the currency. Learn how to creatively connect with your audiences through the power of a well-told story, by combining logic and emotion, facts and narratives with a dash of creativity and flair.

Mel Kettle - Social Media Consultant
With the average attention span shorter than that of a goldfish, it’s important we know how to cut through the cluttered social media space of today. Mel Kettle will show us how to creatively connect using social media so as speakers, we can better position ourselves as an authority in a crowded market.

Lisa Murray - Creation Catalyst & Founder, Creativity Lab
Creative Connections through Improvisation - On Stage and Beyond. Imagine a space where every presentation you do feels fresh, creative and adventurous. Are you brave enough to experiment with your audience? Are you curious enough to engage with your audience in unconventional ways? Lisa Murray will take us on an
adventure in discovering new creative possibilities for your speaking business and beyond.

ACT TWO:
After the break each Speaker will host a table discussion and activity on their expert topic for 15 minutes. Members and guests will have the opportunity to creatively connect with their choice of expert in 3 separate 15 minute sessions.

It's certainly a dynamic, exciting and jam-packed evening for our first formal event of 2017. We guarantee you'll be challenged, creatively inspired and energised to create an outstanding 2017.

I and the Chapter Leadership Team look forward to welcoming you.

Simone de Haas

QLD/NT Chapter President
