Speaker 1: Ben Harvey - The 5 Fundamentals of Speaking to Sell

Benjamin J Harvey has personally sold over $5 million worth of services from stage. He is the founder of Authentic Education, a BRW Fast Starters Company. He has trained thousands of Australian speakers and helped professional speakers such as Dr John Demartini, John Assaraf, Ari Galper and Jack Delosa.

His mission is to help difference-makers do what they love. You will learn:

  • 3 phases of crafting a presentation that sells (instead of "winging it")
  • How to build a business speaking about what you love (with extremely low costs)
  • 5 fundamental elements of a compelling presentation
  • How to attract prospective clients

Ben has Authentic Education for the last six years and ran corporate training with Optus, Telstra and Adecco prior to that. He has done over 8,000 1x1 coaching sessions!


Speaker 2: Peter Merrett - Delivering a ‘Wonderful’ Experience to Your Audience

Peter is an award-winning keynote speaker who inspires and entertains international audiences with engaging, fun-filled and thought provoking presentations.

As an expert in creating exceptional customer and team environments that are truly ‘Wonderful’, Peter treats his keynote audiences in exactly the same way and receives rave reviews. He will help you turn your next talk into the ‘Show' that everyone will want to see!

We will get to see part of his ‘Whatever Happened to Wonderful?’ show, which received tears, laughter and a standing ovation from 1,000 people recently in Arizona.

He is the Head of Customer Experience for JLL Australia, the specialist investment management and real estate services firm, and keynote speaking is part of his full-time corporate role.

MC Jenny Cartwright

Jenny Cartwright is NSW | ACT’s secret weapon, helping get the best speakers on our stage as our Program Manager. However Jenny will be front and centre, managing the stage at our next meeting.

Jenny specialises in sales training and keynote speaking at sales conferences, having made the art of professional speaking a passion of hers over the past 25 years. She is a Professional Speaking Member of our organisation. 


Business Session - "How does your social media improve your business?"

As a pre-session to the main event, we will gather views on what does and doesn’t work for members and guests in the world of social media. It will be a great opportunity to hear and learn from your peers!

Storytelling Session

A unique opportunity to hone your storytelling skills and gain feedback from those present. No advance bookings are required, but you should arrive by 4pm to get your name on the list and we will start at 4.15pm with a series of 5-minute slots. Members are given first preference, and guests are welcome to fill any remaining spots.
